About IllyRap Recordings About IllyRap Recordings                 Hip Hop talent “Illy Rap”, the born and raised Kingston New Yorker, began to express himself artistically at a young age. Growing up with his brother and first cousins they have a long history in creating rap music together. Inspired by the increasingly popular Hip Hop scene and being raised within the culture, “Illy Rap” started beat boxing. As early as six years old he amazed audiences with his note-perfect imitations of drum machines, sound effects, and popular tunes. He performed at his Elementary School for the students and faculty and also performed in the neighborhood. Later on he was considered to be in contention with Hip Hop great Doug E. Fresh. From there, he took his skills even further by writing original rap lyrics and then years later recording and producing.                In late 2005 “Illy Rap” positioned himself as a respected pillar in the local Rap community by starting his own record label/production company, IllyRap Recordings. Based in Kingston New York, IllyRap Recordings is home to musical works by F.A.M., top selling                DJ Big Mike, super-producer Vinny Idol of D-Block, multi-platinum selling Chad Beats of G-Unit and many other remarkable talents. In only a few years the label has solidified itself as a major force to be reckoned with as an Indie in the Record Biz.                 “Illy Rap”, the once troubled youth matured into this respectable young entrepreneur. He currently oversees all operations of IllyRap Recordings and works with signed and unsigned artists in some of the most prestigious recording studios in New York. Through his passion for music, he has attained friends and colleagues in Music and Show Business, while still managing a nice balance between mingling with A-List celebrities and talented up and comers. Illy Rap continues to make new music on a day to day basis, also he attends local music showcases and makes special guest appearances at red carpet events. His music has been published on various top radio stations for Hip Hop & RnB and is promoted on major mixtape releases.
